Seattle - Layout 1

In the morning of Day 4, we visited Greg Wright's 1/32n20 model railroad, southwest of Tacoma. Greg scratch builds the buildings and rolling stock in 1/32 scale (this is larger than O scale, smaller than G scale). He freelances a 20inch gauge mining railway, as 20 inches scales out to HO / On30 gauge track, allowing him to use HO and On30 wheelsets and drives, and at times, some track and switches when not hand laid. He also gave us a tour of see his 'garden railroad'. All buildings and trains were put away in storage for the year, so we saw the railway.
