O Layout started - August 2025

The start of benchwork (shelf-work) for my 2 rail, O scale layout. This railroad will run around the room in my home office. A key design variable was the layout shelf will be over my PC desk. The height of monitors defined the layout shelf design and brackets used. The first step was to build the custom desk, which was built lower to help lower the final the track height. Without normal benchwork meant heavy brackets and extra planning. These pictures show the start of the shelf construction, in the corner over my PC desk. This work started in August 2025.
